When it comes to HOA banking, many of our customers face similar challenges: impersonal service, nickel-and-dime fees and frustratingly inefficient online banking tools. At Valley Bank, we understand the challenges you face as a property manager.
An executive member at a Florida property management company recently shared his thoughts about the custom solutions and personal touch Valley has provided him and his full-service property management company. He says Valley’s services and website have overall given him a smoother online banking experience and he appreciates that there are minimum incidental fees.
“Valley has helped streamline communication and treasury reports, and navigating their website is an improved experience over the previous bank we used,” he said. “I'm happy to see that Valley is dedicated to making things better for their clients. I've given them a bunch of suggestions over the years. We've worked together to find workarounds.”
The Florida-based company handles operations for 48 condominium and homeowner associations, plus commercial properties, strip malls and apartment buildings. Their condos alone range from three units to 500, he said. The more units, the more the numbers multiply, and the greater the accounting and processing tasks.
The thing that sets Valley apart is the great staff that is assigned to us. They’re caring, knowledgeable and committed to the clients.
“We have an accounting department and they collect the assessments,” he said. “People can pay any of five ways, including a lock box, which Valley handles.”
The executive says he likes to work within the system he has in place with Valley. So when the company brings on a new customer, he recommends Valley to handle their needs. Switching over to Valley from another bank is simple.
“It’s just a process of getting a cashier's check payable to the name of the association and filling out the signature cards and paperwork you'd have to open new accounts,” he said.
While Valley’s custom solutions, minimum fees and online banking tools have improved his experience from other banks, the Florida executive says Valley’s attentive staff and customer-first approach are the invaluable things that have won his true loyalty.
“In the past we had complaints with banks for not providing personal service,” he said. “They were often concentrating on how much to fee the customer instead of helping. The thing that sets Valley apart is the great staff that is assigned to us. They’re caring, knowledgeable and committed to the clients.”
Valley makes internet banking a personal and simplified experience. Our customized solutions, attentive staff and efficient online banking are just some of the ways we aim to be of service.
