The Florida-based company handles operations for 48 condominium and homeowner associations, plus commercial properties, strip malls and apartment buildings. “It’s just a process of getting a cashier's check payable to the name of the association and filling out the signature cards and paperwork you'd have to open new accounts,” he said.

“In the past we had complaints with banks for not providing personal service,” he said. “They were often concentrating on how much to fee the customer instead of helping.
